Organizations go to bat for charity
In an extraordinary display of team spirit, three organizations went to bat for charity last Sunday in Zion, and hit a home run. The Zion-based Lake County Fielders minor-league baseball team provided the facility, the Lake County Sheriff's Dept. and the Zion Fire Dept. provided the muscle, so to speak, and the result was a successful fund-raising event.
